This 8 days tour from Casablanca offers you a complete journey through Morocco’s most famous imperial cities, mountains, and desert landscapes. We begin in Casablanca and travel to the capital, Rabat, before heading to the blue city of Chefchaouen.

From there, we explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the historic city of Meknes before arriving in Fes. The adventure continues south through the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara Desert of Merzouga for a camel trek and an overnight camp.

Welcome to Morocco! On the first day of your 8 days Casablanca tour from imperial cities, we will meet you at the airport or your hotel in Casablanca. We’ll start by visiting the Hassan II Mosque, a stunning architectural marvel that sits right on the Atlantic coast.

Depending on your arrival time, we can also see Mohammed V Square, the city’s administrative heart. You will spend the night in a local hotel in Casablanca.

After breakfast, we drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here, you will see the Hassan Tower, the unfinished minaret of a 12th-century mosque, and the historic Kasbah of the Oudayas.

Following some free time for lunch, we continue our journey north to Chefchaouen. This famous “blue city” is nestled in the Rif Mountains, known for its striking blue-painted buildings. We will stay overnight in a local hotel.

You can spend the morning exploring the charming blue alleyways of Chefchaouen. Afterward, we drive to the nearby UNESCO World Heritage site of Volubilis. These are the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco, offering a real glimpse into the ancient past.

Next, we visit the imperial city of Meknes, the former capital of Morocco. We will see key sights like the grand Bab Al-Mansour gate and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Finally, we head to Fes for an overnight stay in a riad.

Today is dedicated to exploring Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. With a local guide, you will dive into the medieval Fes el-Bali (Old Medina), a UNESCO site with a maze of over 9,000 streets.

We will visit the Al-Qarawiyyin University, the oldest continuously operating university in the world, and the famous Chouara Tanneries. The tour also includes the Royal Palace Gate and the Mellah (Jewish quarter). You will return to your riad in the evening.

This 8 days Morocco tour from Casablanca takes a turn south today. We first stop in Ifrane, a unique alpine-style town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” We then continue to the Michlifen cedar forest, where you can see wild monkeys.

We’ll drive through Midelt and the scenic Ziz Valley, known for its vast stretches of palm groves. By the afternoon, we reach the Merzouga Sahara. You will trade the car for a camel and trek across the dunes to your luxury desert camp for the night.

Waking up early to see the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes is a truly magical experience. After breakfast at the camp, you will ride your camel back to Merzouga to meet your driver.

We’ll visit the market in Rissani, the ancient capital of the Tafilalet region. Then, we drive to the Todra Gorges, a massive canyon with towering red cliffs popular with rock climbers. We end the day in the Dades Valley, where we’ll stay overnight.

Our journey continues through the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” We will pass through the Roses Valley in Kalaa Magouna, where rose products are locally made. We then drive to Ouarzazate, home to the Atlas Film Studios.

The main stop is the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a famous fortified village and UNESCO site used as a set for many films like Gladiator. Finally, we cross the Tizi-n-Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech.

On the final day of your tour, we will drive you from Marrakech to the airport in Casablanca, depending on your flight schedule. This concludes your 8-day tour package from Casablanca.
