10 Days Morocco Tour from Tangier

Day 1: Tangier – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen
On the first day of this 10 days tour from Tangier we will pick you up from your hotel, the port, or the airport. We will start our journey by driving through the beautiful Rif Mountains and passing by Tetouan to enjoy the scenic views.
Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, you will have free time to explore. Chefchaouen is famous for its blue-washed buildings and relaxed atmosphere, making it one of the most picturesque towns in Morocco. Overnight stay in a local riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, we leave the blue city behind and head towards Volubilis. Here, we will stop to discover the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco and learn about its ancient history.
Next, we drive to Meknes, an imperial city known for its massive walls and the grand Bab Mansour gate. After lunch and a visit to the Moulay Ismail shrine, we continue directly to Fes where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Full Day Sightseeing in Fes
Today is dedicated to exploring Fes, the oldest city in Morocco. A local guide will take you through the narrow alleys of the medina to see incredible historical sites.
You will visit the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish Mellah, and the famous Al Qaraouine University. We also ensure you see the colorful tanneries and the Attarine Museum before enjoying a panoramic view of the whole city.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Milchlifen – Merzouga
We start our drive south today, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop in Ifrane, often called “Moroccan Switzerland,” and then in the cedar forest of Michlifen to see the wild monkeys.
After lunch in Midelt, we continue through the spectacular Ziz Valley, known for its immense palm groves. We arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon and check into your hotel near the dunes.

Day 5: Merzouga Exploration & Camel Trek
After breakfast, we will explore the desert area in our 4×4. We will visit the village of Khamlia to listen to traditional Gnawa music and meet nomadic families to learn about their lifestyle.
In the afternoon, you will switch the car for camels. Guided by an experienced handler, you will trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset before arriving at our Berber camp for dinner and music under the stars.

Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Waking up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara is highly recommended. After trekking back to the village for breakfast and a shower, we depart for Rissani to visit its bustling local market.
We continue our journey to Todra Gorge, where you can walk between massive rock walls that reach 300 meters high. We finish the day in the Dades Valley, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Today we travel through the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” passing the Valley of Roses and the cinema city of Ouarzazate. Our main stop is the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.
This UNESCO World Heritage site is a striking example of southern Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been a backdrop for many famous movies. Later, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass to reach Marrakech.

Day 8: Full Day Sightseeing in Marrakech
After breakfast, you will explore Marrakech, known as the “Red City.” A local guide will ensure you see the most important cultural and historical sites of the city.
Visits include the majestic Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the enchanting Majorelle Gardens. In the afternoon, you can walk through the lively souks and witness the energy of Jemaa el-Fna square.

Day 9: Day Trip to Essaouira
We will take a day trip to the coastal city of Essaouira today. Known as the “Wind City of Africa,” it is loved for its relaxed vibe, Portuguese fortress walls, and historic medina.
You can visit the Skala Fortress, see artisans carving Thuya wood, and perhaps visit an Argan oil cooperative. Enjoy a fresh fish lunch near the port before we travel back to Marrakech for the night.

Day 10: Marrakech Departure
On the final day of your tour across Morocco, we will transfer you to the airport in Marrakech or Casablanca, depending on your flight schedule, marking the end of our services.
