Highlights Of 7 Days Tour From Marrakech

7-Day Marrakech Desert Tour - Full Package

On the first day of your 7-day tour package from Marrakech, we depart early toward the High Atlas Mountains. We drive through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, reaching altitudes of 2,260 meters with panoramic views of Berber villages.

Our first major stop is Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient fortified ksar where famous movies like Gladiator were filmed. After lunch, we continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of the Roses. We conclude the day in the Dades Valley, known for its unique rock formations called “monkey toes.”

After breakfast, we head to the Todra Gorges, where 300-meter-high limestone cliffs create a dramatic narrow canyon perfect for a short walk. We then pass through the palm groves of Tinghir and the town of Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops.

Upon reaching Merzouga, you will trade your vehicle for camels to trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. We spend the night in a traditional desert camp, enjoying a campfire and Berber music under the stars.

Wake up early to witness a spectacular Sahara sunrise before riding camels back to the village. The 7 days Marrakech trip then takes us north through the lush Ziz Valley, home to one of Morocco’s largest palm oases.

We stop for lunch in Midelt, then continue through the Cedar Forest of Michlifen, where you can often see wild monkeys. After a brief stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine architecture, we arrive in Fes for the night.

Today is dedicated to discovering Fes, the oldest of Morocco’s four Imperial Cities. With a local guide, you will enter the Fes el-Bali medina through the famous Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud).

You will visit the Al-Quaraouiyine University, which is recognized as the oldest continuously operating university in the world.
We also visit the Chouara Tannery to see how leather is traditionally dyed and the Royal Palace gates before returning to your Riad.

Today starts by exploring the Roman ruins of Volubilis, which feature some of the best-preserved mosaics in North Africa.

Your Morocco vacation then winds through the scenic Rif Mountains. In the afternoon, we arrive in the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen, where you have the evening to explore its quiet, blue streets.

In the morning, we’ll drive toward the Atlantic coast to reach Rabat, the current capital of Morocco. Here, we visit the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, which stands as a masterpiece of modern Alaouite dynasty architecture.

We finish the day in Casablanca, the country’s economic hub, to see the exterior of the magnificent Hassan II Mosque.

On the final day of your Morocco tour, we visit the interior of the Hassan II Mosque if time permits. This mosque is one of the few in Morocco open to non-Muslims and features a minaret that stands 210 meters tall.

Afterward, we take the highway back to Marrakech. We will drop you off at your accommodation or the airport, marking the end of our journey together through the heart of Morocco.
